(45a) Pilot and Full-Scale Application of Technologies for Mercury Control

With the final MATS rule going into effect in 2015, electric utilities must now consider mercury control as a needed technology in their emissions train.  This talk wiill cover recent full-scale injections of activated carbon and alkali injection, as well as pilot-scale studies of non-halogenated carbons or non-carbon sorbents.  We will also discuss recent mixed matrix membrane pilot studies.  **(Most recent data will be included in the abstract closer to the meeting)
