In this paper, we observe fiveconventionaldistillation sequencesfor the separation
ofquaternarymixturesofhydrocarbonstofeed compositionswith high or lowcontentofintermediate components. For newconfigurationsdistillationsequences, only requires the additionofa recycle streamoffluidorvapor betweentheconventionaldistillation
columns. Eachrecycle streamremoveseithera condenser orreboiler.The introductionofthermalbondscanreducepower consumptionup to 40% incontrast toconventionaldistillationsequenceswidelyusedin industry.This efficiencyinenergy useis achieved becausetherecycle streamsintroduced inconventionaldistillationsequences, reduce remixedthat is associatedwith highenergy consumption.
