(36b) Environmental Liability: Regulation, Compliance and Litigation Risk

Compliance with environmental regulations, while necessary and helpful in minimizing litigation risk, does not completely insulate industry from litigation.  This presentation will review potential pathways towards unwanted administrative and judicial entanglements regarding which even the most compliant companies should be aware, including enforcement disputes, citizen suit actions and common law claims.
