(99b) Revamp Fired Heater to Maximize Thermal Efficiency

Fired heaters are in the refining and petroleum industry. In the current scenario, it is important to maximize fired heater efficiency to the maximum achievable. Revamping is a cost effective way to maximize fired heater efficiency: FIS has carried out several heater revamp projects in the past 5 years to improve heater efficiency. We intend to present 2-3 case studies showing the systems approach taken during projects to help improve efficiency of heaters. We were able to improve the thermal efficiency of the heaters from 8% to 20%.
