(68d) Kinetic Modeling of Oxidative-Short-Term Lime Pretreatment of Biomass

Oxidative lime pretreatment has shown effective to increase digestiblity of lignocellulosic resources. Kinetic models for oxygen delignification have been developed to gain insight into the pretreatment method. These models can be used in the design of comercial-scale equipment and process control and optimization.
