(48e) De-Bottlenecking Splitters with SUPERFRAC® High-Performance Trays

Significant capacity improvements and reduction in specific energy consumption in splitters can be realized by replacing conventional trays with high-capacity, high-efficiency, multi-pass SUPERFRAC® trays. Two industrial case studies will be covered in this presentation: (a) A C2 splitter that was de-bottlenecked to give higher throughput and higher purity ; (b) A C3 splitter that was de-bottlenecked to give higher throughput.
