2009 Spring Meeting & 5th Global Congress on Process Safety
(40d) Panel Discussions
The panel discussion will address the issues and challenges our industry will face in future to compete with other demands for the limited hydrocarbon resources that are essential for meeting the increased demand of petrochemicals. Today's competitive industry environment requires special attention to the availability and access to cheaper feedstock, as the cost of production of olefins is highly dependent on feed costs. The shared knowledge of petrochemical producers, consultants, refiners, process licensors and engineering firms, catalysts and chemicals suppliers, and other industry experts as our panelists and attendees will keep the focus on future trends and help our industry to be ready for the opportunities.
The panelists include keynote speaker of Ethylene Producer Conference, speakers from this session, industry experts from different regions of the world.
If you have a question (or questions) that you would like to ask these experts, related to trends in olefin plant feedstock, please e-mail those to sanjeev.kapur@fluor.com or AKrumins@cbi.com prior to March 1, 2009. In e-mail, please make sure to include your full name, company name and address. We will also take questions from the floor during this session.
