Use of steady state process simulators has become routine in engineering practice. Process simulators allow for fast, efficient, and accurate development of new designs and evaluation of existing operations.

The leading process simulators have advanced features, beyond steady state modeling, which are beginning to be used in mainstream engineering. Some of these features (and commercial case studies) will be discussed.
