(31d) Super Sized LNG Full Containment System: Is It Dream or Practical?

This paper describes the technical challenges of super sized LNG storage tank, which is a 9% Ni full containment system. This paper also discusses the development of a 240,000 m3 full containment tank based on the current codes and its consequences of restriction in designing the tank. Economics and operation flexibility behind this super-sized LNMG tank is followed by the technical features of this tank design.
