In recent years advances have been made towards explosion pressure analysis on offshore structures. One problem that continuously bothers designers of these structures is the addition of new piping and equipment during operational phase and its explosion impact on structures both in close proximity and far field situations. This case study tries to focus on blast impacts from the addition of a gasification module on buildings/equipments and other occupied modules on the FSRU.
