(118a) Committing to Process Safety--a Reliance Experience

HSE Excellence is adopted as a business strategy in Reliance and the need for more structured & rigorous way is identified to be the Company's need of the hour. Achieving excellence in Process Safety is increasingly important to the organization to cope with rapidly changing environments, more complex and interdependent sets of technologies and integration of diverse manpower to support the growth strategy. This paper brings out the approach adopted at Reliance in realising this objective of reaching world class in process safety i.e.

(1) how is this aspect demonstrated at senior management including Board level and,

(2) how is this embedded and exhibited at other levels almost as opportunities.

We articulate these experiences through this paper.
