(48a) An Overview of Rentech's Technology

The pace of FT development is changing rapidly as crude prices remain high and everyone form government to coal companies look for opportunities to convert low valued resources into valuable fuels and chemicals. Rentech has developed an aggressive plan to both develop and license its proprietary brand of Fischer-Tropsch conversion technology to work with any reasonable feedstock ? natural gas, coal, petroleum coke and even bio-feedstocks that can't compete on an economic scale today.

This paper will provide an overview of Rentech's technology, its current projects and its license partners that are together creating a domestic industry primed for moving from coal to bio-technology.
