Once the decision to pilot has been made, the search begins for existing facilities, both within the company and possibly externally, suitable for completing this work. Should a suitable fit not be identified, a new pilot plant will need to be designed and built.
At this stage, the decision then becomes whether to design and build the pilot plant in-house, or to outsource. This presentation will explore the benefits of outsourcing pilot plant design and construction to a pilot plant specialist.
