(100f) Antifouling and Corrosion Resistant Coatings for Cracked Gas Compressors and Steam Turbines

This paper will provide an update on the considerations, advantages and disadvantages of PTFE and high phosphorous electrolysis nickel coatings used to help prevent fouling in cracked gas compressors in Ethylene plants. It will also discuss coating options to prevent fouling and corrosion of steam turbine blades. The target audience for this paper is process and rotating equipment engineers of all experience levels.
