- (26a) New Advances of LNG in China
Besides the LNG plants in Shanghai, Zhongyuan of Henan, and Guanghui of Xinjiang, China is building or has already built LNG plants in Gudong, Hainan, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, and Sichuan, respectively.
To meet the every increasing energy demand, China plans to construct a series of LNG terminals. The first LNG terminal of China was built in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and the second LNG terminal of China was projected in Fujian Province. Moreover, the LNG terminals in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Dalian have made substantive progresses.
The Chinese government has planned to build LNG carriers at shipyard in Shanghai. The LNG road tankers made by manufacturers in Sichuan, Jiangsu and Hebei have already put into practice; the LNG storage containers made by manufactures in Jiangsu have been launched to the market. In some cities in Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi provinces, there are satellite stations, where the LNG is re-gasified and the natural gas is supplied to residents and industries by pipeline.
The regulations and standards of LNG are been establishing now in China.
In this paper, the technical data and flow diagram about LNG plants, LNG receiving terminals, LNG road tankers and storage containers, and LNG re-gasification stations are introduced.
