Session: Stay Safe, Engineer Smart – A Crash Course in Process Safety

As members of the AIChE Process Safety Division (PSD), a key theme we hear from both academia and industry is how to help new graduates with process safety in their early career. Using real-life examples and interactive activities, we will help you prepare for how process safety interfaces with application of fundamentals of chemical engineering in industry. You’ll learn why it’s so important to spot hazards early, think through risks carefully, and ask the right questions to help create safer processes.
