Session: Radical Allyship & Queer Careers

This session features two focused talks. First, we’ll explore how engineers and scientists can practice radical allyship across academia and industry, with practical tools for supporting marginalized groups through everyday signals and bold advocacy. Second, we’ll share strategies to help LGBTQ+ professionals find, evaluate, and thrive in safe and affirming workplaces. The session concludes with interactive small-group discussions, giving attendees the chance to reflect, network, and exchange strategies around allyship and career success.
