Session: Metabolic Engineering- General Topics

This session will focus on recent advances in the targeted manipulation of metabolism for enhanced functions in plant, fungal, and microbial systems through in vivo and/or in silico methods. Topics include, but are not limited to: in vivo and in silico metabolic network and pathway engineering; construction and analysis of genome scale metabolic models; metabolic flux analysis; control mechanisms for metabolic engineering; and bioproduction platforms in non-model organism.
