Session: Advances in Petroleum Production and Refining
Oil and gas still provide more than half of the world's energy consumption under the current situation. To stay competitive in the market it is essential to produce crude oil (especially from heavy oil resources) and its refined products at minimum operating costs and impacts on the environment. This session welcomes latest developments in the areas of oil and gas production and processing as well as integration of petrochemical plants with the petroleum and natural gas refineries to produce value added products while considering the environment.
