Session: Advanced Manufacturing and Processing of Composites

This session invites all research in the fields of composites and hybrids empowered by advanced manufacturing, including but not limited to 3D and 4D printing, smart fabrication, conventional manufacturing, and other non-traditional processes. Both experimental and theoretical explorations in polymer-, ceramics-, and metal-based composites with a focus on mechanical or functional properties and/or novel characterization techniques are welcome. New applications in soft robotics, sensors, actuators, batteries, and biomedical devices, among others, are particularly encouraged.
