Viscoelastic flows over sharp edges and indentations arise in various contexts, such as flow through porous media, and can give rise to instability-driven flow states that govern transport phenomena. We systematically investigate how the geometry of sharp edges influences viscoelastic flow patterns. The configuration consists of a prism embedded in a channel and affixed to the bottom wall, with the edge sharpness controlled via a cylindrical cap. This design enables a broad exploration of geometric parameters across a range of Weissenberg numbers, which quantify the balance between elastic and viscous forces in viscoelastic flows. R.
