(527f) Future of CoMSE Industrial Applications

Practical and industrial applications of computational molecular science and engineering have been of long-standing interest in CoMSEF and AIChE. As a Research Scientist at Dow, I have participated in Dow's applications and have observed activities of other companies. An even broader perspective comes from long-time co-leadership of the annual session "Industrial Applications of Molecular Modeling and Simulation," whose origins stretch back to a 1994 AIChE plenary session of that title. I will draw from these experiences to speculate on future applications and how we will achieve them.
