Understanding how to effectively communicate with program directors before proposal submission and after notices of declination are important skills to develop. Program Directors are invested in receiving and funding projects that push science and engineering forward in important and impactful ways. As such, they can be a source of important information and guidance if you know the right questions to ask and the most effective way to present them. This talk will also cover early career opportunities at NSF including the Faculty Early Career Development Program (CAREER) NSF 22-586 and the Engineering Research Initiation (ERI) solicitation, NSF 24-590. After the talk, a Q&A panel will be held with attending NSF Program Officers.
