(528d) Contributions By Tom Edgar to Education and Teaching in Process Systems Engineering

In this presentation we highlight the outstanding contributions that Tom Edgar has made in terms of his pioneering textbooks in optimization and process dynamics and control. We also highlight his leadership in establishing and promoting the Computer Aids for Chemical Engineering Education (CACHE) program, as well as other educational initiatives Finally, we also highlight the impact that he has had as an academic professor and as a university administrator.
