(433d) Colloidal Aggregation at Fluid Interfaces: In Honor of Nick Kotov

Nick Kotov has made seminal contributions to the synthesis of complex colloids and their assembly into functional materials. In this talk, I will build from Nick’s insights to discuss non-equilibrium processes that guide the assembly of colloids at complex fluid interfaces, including liquids that exhibit long range ordering. The work will be placed into the context of new tools to understand and address the problem of microplastics.
