Session: TEP Graduate Student Award Session
The TEP Division sponsors a Graduate Student Award related to Transport Phenomena in the areas of renewable feedstocks, alternative and flexible fuels, energy efficiency, energy storage and conversion, and clean technologies. A committee will evaluate the application packet submitted by each graduate student (requirements below) and the oral presentation to determine the award recipients for 2024. In addition to submitting the abstract to the session, by May 31, 2024 an application packet must be submitted via e-mail to the Session Chairs (Andrej Lenert and Zheng Chen ) to include the following information: a) The student Curriculum Vitae (limited to 3 pages), b) Letter of recommendation from the Graduate Student's Advisor (the letter in PDF format should be e-mailed directly by the letter writer), and c) A copy of one referred research paper (published or in press, in PDF format). Eligibility criteria: 1. Must be a graduate student pursuing an academic degree at the time of the competition, and 2. Must not be a past winner of the TEP Graduate Student Award.
