Session: Sustainable Design and Modeling of Biorefineries I

This session welcomes abstracts related to modeling, optimization, and evaluation of biofuel/bioproduct technologies to establish critical targets for a sustainable bioeconomy. Examples include the evaluation of emerging pretreatment, fermentation, and separation technologies, and assessing the financial viability and environmental impact of new bioproducts. We encourage open-source models for greater transparency and utility to accelerate research and innovation.
