2024 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: MOFs, COFs, and Porous Polymer Materials

Hybrid materials containing metal organic frameworks (MOFs), COF and porous polymers have made a significant impact on mainstream research and have become ubiquitous materials for catalysis, separation, sensing, filtration and energy storage/conversion applications. There still remains a great challenge in understanding relationships for synthesis, processing, and performance in such hybrid materials. Topics include, but are not limited to: 1) Synthesis of MOFs, COF and polymer-based materials 2) Hybridization/processing strategies 3) Novel synthetic approaches for large scale synthesis and continuous production of MOFs and COFs 4) Applications of MOFs, COFs, and porous polymer materials
