This session targets research on transport phenomena at the micro- and nano-scale. At small length scales, complete descriptions of transport phenomena often require considerations of interfacial effects, thermodynamics, and material properties. As continuum models break down, molecular structure becomes increasingly important. Papers on experiment, theory and simulations are welcome, as are all areas of transport phenomena, including applications in industrial, environmental, and biological realms, and those dealing with both pure and multicomponent materials.
