Session: Membranes for Challenging Separations in Water

This session theme includes novel materials, methods, and modifications for separation and purification in chemical (i.e. process water) and environmental engineering systems involving water treatment, desalination, and water reuse applications. These include any membrane separations, with the exception of methods intended for analytical purposes. Analyses including the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence as applied to membrane-based systems are also welcome. 2023 Sessions that resulted from this theme: Water Treatment Membrane Formation; Water Treatment Membrane Applications; Nanoscale Water Treatment Membranes.
