2024 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: Engineered Biomimetic Tissue Models II: Engineering Cancer Models

This session will explore the use of biomimetic tissue models to recapitulate various aspects of the tumor microenvironment, such as the extracellular matrix and the presence of heterogeneous cell types. Research in this session will highlight how engineered tissue models can be used to gain biological insight into processes that are critical for cancer initiation and metastasis, including cell migration and response to therapy.
