Session: Catalysis and Reaction Engineering for PFAS Remediation I: Incineration

Adverse health effects of per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) like perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) make their destruction imperative. Papers assess PFAS collection from processes and the environment as well as the science and technology of their destruction. This session focuses on thermal degradation and incineration, though many findings are generalizable.
