Session: Biomaterials: Graduate Student Award Session (Invited Talks)

This session will honor graduate students whose research achievements in the biomaterials area demonstrate a high level of excellence. Interested students should submit a regular abstract to another Area 08B session of interest. To be considered for the award session, students must submit an abstract to an 8B session by abstract submission deadline through the online portal AND an application packet via e-mail to cfromen@udel.edu by the same date. Application packets must include the following components in PDF format: 1) CV, 4 pages or less; 2) A copy of the AIChE 2024 abstract submitted online; 3) One first-author, refereed research publication (published or in press). Reviews or submitted research manuscripts will not be considered.; 4) One letter of recommendation e-mailed directly by the applicant's PhD advisor. Applications and abstracts will be reviewed and finalist selected to speak within this session. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place during the conference. NOTE: no abstracts should be directly submitted to this session; they will be selected from abstracts submitted to other 8B sessions.
