Session: Biomaterials and Biological Systems

This session will focus on the characterization of soft biomaterials, biological fluids, and other biologically relevant flow systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the characterization of novel biomaterials (especially during material evolution), the dynamics of biomolecules (e.g., proteins and single DNA chains), blood flow, hydrodynamic separation of particles and cells, and hydrodynamic phenomena in drug-delivery systems.
