(739a) Assessing Adsorbent Materials for Applications in Direct Air Capture (DAC) Utilizing Breakthrough and Static Adsorption Measurements
Breakthrough and static adsorption measurements are important for the development materials used in direct air capture (DAC) of carbon dioxide. These techniques are particularly valuable for evaluating material performance in low CO2 concentrations and in the presence of water. By utilizing these analytical methods, researchers can reduce the development time of new materials and processes for DAC, by measuring surface texture, adsorption capacity, and selectivity.
