(730d) Characterization of Torrefied Woody Biomass

To improve the biomass co-firing rate in co-firing power generation, woody biomass was semi-carbonized to improve fuel properties. After semi-carbonization, the biomass samples were crushed using a pulverizer and the change in bulk density was investigated. Evaluation of crushability by bulk density was examined.
