(572e) Developing an Integrated System for Partial Ammonia Cracking and Gas Turbine Combustion
Author
Ammonia cracking technology and its integration with gas turbine combustion is studied, with the aim of achieving scalable advancements in decarbonizing power generation. Modeling and simulation is employed to develop an optimal design for a multi-channel tubular reactor to partially decompose ammonia for fuel, by testing factors such as catalyst morphology and reactor configuration in silico. Experimental data is used to develop the kinetic and transport models in this study, and the model predictions are benchmarked against experimental data.
