All Mixed Up: An Academic's Three-Decade Adventure in Industrial Mixing Practice
How did an academic manage to survive in industry for thirty years? This presentation will describe how a successful collaboration between academia and industry started and was sustained over the long haul. Reasons for establishing the relationship and keys to making it work, including the role of the larger mixing community, will be reviewed. Highlights of the work performed, including the people involved, will be revisited and efforts to address some puzzling results will be discussed.
