(365h) Optimization of Particle Size Distribution of Lipid Nanoparticle for Drug Delivery

Research Interests
Lipid Nanoparticle has been frequently considered as a promising drug carrier.
Since drug delivery efficacy of nanoparticle is greatly affected by its size distribution,
accurate prediction and control for desirable distribution has been crucial task.
In this research, we developed a mathematical model that can predict particle size distribution of lipid nanoparticle.
Specifically, population balance equations of particles were solved with considering surface electrostatic energy.
Effect of temperature, lipid concentration, and ionic environment were investigated and optimized for desirable particle size distribution
