Gas adsorption at high-pressures presents fundamental challenges due to sensitivity of experimental measurements to the definition of Gibbs dividing surface. High-pressure binary adsorption in micropores exhibits selectivity reversals that had been predicted by molecular simulations. This talk will focus on these rarely emphasized features of adsorbed multi-component gas mixtures, and compare predictions from molecular simulations and Ideal Adsorbed Solution theory with experiment.
