This talk underlines the crucial role of precise structural control in bottlebrush polymers for creating advanced functional soft materials. By adjusting side-chain and backbone parameters, as well as block compositions, it is now possible to prepare a diverse range of materials with independently tunable interfacial, thermomechanical, and transport properties. The behavior of these complex polymers is examined using a combination of experimental and simulation studies, enabling novel insights and a deeper understanding. The talk will also showcase our recent progress in designing complex amphiphiles and nanoparticle building blocks. Multifunctional precision polymers have the potential to unlock new scientific discoveries and technological breakthroughs.
