(217a) Professor L.S. Fan’s Legacy at Ohio State

During his 45-year tenure at Ohio State Chemical Engineering, Professor Fan left his mark at every aspect of the department. As an educator, as a researcher, as a leader and as a mentor, he led the department to new heights and set very high standards for his colleagues and his students to aspire to. After 45 years, he continues to shine as a bright guiding light for all of us. Reflections on his impact on our profession and on the Ohio State Chemical Engineering will be shared.
