(380c) Development of a Platform for Aerobic Processes

Oxidation reactions are typically avoided in the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) largely due to high energy reagents, hazardous waste, or undesirable solvents. Aerobic oxidations offer an attractive and efficient alternative but are also generally avoided due to safety concerns. This presentation will describe the development of a platform for continuous flow aerobic processes and applications to API synthesis.
