(2em) Carbon Management for Fixing the Climate

Research Interests: My research focuses on the emerging fields of carbon management for fixing the climate, with an emphasis on the underlying chemistry and nanoscience that can advance Direct Air Capture of CO₂, CO₂ conversion to synthetic fuel, novel materials discovery for energy and environmental applications, as well as energy infrastructure design and planning.

Teaching Interest: I am prepared to teach core chemistry, environment, and energy courses such as General Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics, and also math courses such as Calculus, Probability, and Statistics for undergraduate students. For graduate students, I explore teaching advanced courses such as Statistical Mechanics, Carbon Capture and Storage, Transport/chem Rate Phenomena, and Advanced Thermodynamics.
