(187a) Proposal Writing Strategies for Fundamental Research Proposals for NSF

This workshop, conducted by former program officers of NSF's Engineering Directorate, will discuss strategies for putting together fundamental research proposals, typical of the National Science Foundation. The workshop will discuss the importance of motivation of the problem, research approach, and describing the intellectual merit and broader impacts of the project. The workshop will be followed with informal networking with NSF program officers at the meeting.
