Single use Centrifuge advances in cell culture processing techniques have evolved from traditional centrifugation and filtration. The Industry has driven these improvements. It has been demonstrated the UniFuge® single use centrifuge close processes, reduce capital equipment cost, and increase titers. The data in this presentation supports the justification of replacing/reducing the traditional separation equipment with single use centrifuge- UniFuge®.


The single use centrifuge, UniFuge® is manufactured by Pneumatic Scale Angelus in Clearwater Florida. This presentation will present case studies of HEK, viral vectors, Plasmid DNA, vaccines from Mrna, VLP and Stem cells processes. The presentation will compare filtration, and fluidized bed separation devices. The data demonstrates the UniFuge® as having quicker processing times, achieving higher cell recovery, and higher viral titers.
