(159aa) Extension of the Monte Carlo Coalescence Model of Spielman and Levenspiel to Variable Density , Unmixed Feed with Variable Volumetric Feed Rate and Concentration Ratios
The Monte Carlo Coalescence redispersion model of Spielman and Levenspiel for a second order reaction between two reacting species A and B present in the dispersed phase of a CSTR has been extended to study the effect of ratio of concentrations of the two reactants, ratio of volumetric feed rates of the individual reactants, stoichiometric coefficient and the model equations have been presented in dimensionless form . The above model has also been extended to study the effect of density change due to reaction . Extension to the nonisothermal case has also been proposed.
