Session: Topical Plenary: Fundamentals of Microbial Interactions with Interfaces (Invited Talks)

The session revolves around the advances in the design of antimicrobial and antifouling materials used in reconstructive medicine or implantable devices. It will also highlight techniques including drug delivery, super-hydrophobicity, topographic and chemical modification used to develop medical interfaces that promote healing and prevent or reduce microbial infections.
