2019 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: Systems and Quantitative Biology: Signaling Pathways, Response Networks and Growth

This session will focus on the integration of new experimental and modeling techniques that aim to elucidate the effects of genomic variation and environmental condition on complex biological phenotypes, including metabolic activity, signaling response, and growth. New methods to incorporate static biochemical or genotypic data with information on dynamic external stimuli can help improve predictions of cellular responses, with far reaching applications in understanding disease progression, improving agricultural yields, or controlling cell differentiation. This session is cosponsored by Engineering Fundamentals in Life Sciences (15D/E).
