2019 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: Nanomaterials for Biological Applications II

Advances in nanomaterials syntheses have led to new and interdisciplinary areas in science and technology. Specific properties of nanomaterials have been interfaced with or applied in biological settings for developing novel nano-bio systems or nanoscale devices. The major trend in further development of such nano-bio materials is to make them multi-structural, multi-functional and controllable by user-directed signals or environments. This session is welcoming abstracts related to the design, synthesis, and computational approaches of novel nano-bio materials for biological applications that highlight the future both in the creation as well as implementation potential of such systems.
